Back in the 80's I ran the Commodore 64 Help Service, and thanks to a little mention in Zzap 64 I used to get more post than the rest of the street combined....and I was 15.
This led me to running numerous user groups while still studying for my GCSEs. After school I was offered a job as the Assistant Manager of a computer shop where I gained even more industry knowledge......and did a lot of gaming.
When the first lockdown came in during 2020 I dug out loads of my old consoles and games. I stuck them on eBay at the insistance of my other half. I was shocked at the appetite that there was for retro gaming. So I started to buy old computers, refurbishing them, and selling them on. Then one day I got a C64 Mini. I worked out a way of buiding a memory stick of thousands of games which worked on it. When I sold my first Mini, I let them have a stick with it.....then thought "hmmm I wonder if people would buy these".
At the same time I was buying broken consoles locally and using them as shells for Retropie builds, and giving them custom designs. People liked them so I started building more.
Now the time has come to put all these items in one place and develop more!
You tell me. What I build and develop is driven by my customers. Retro gamers are the best source of feedback.
